Immigration

Lets set the facts straight.  The year is 2006.  We have had one major terrorism strike on our homeland, with more to follow.  We are in a bloody religious war with radical Muslims who want nothing more in life than to kill Americans.

 

And Ted Kennedy is playing politics on the need to close our borders.

 

Sen. Edward Kennedy (news, bio, voting record), a Massachusetts Democrat, said, "Actions speak louder than words, and there's no running away from the fact that the Republican House passed a bill and Senator Frist offered one that criminalizes immigrants."

No, Teddy.  You don't get it.  Along with the flow of immigrants from the Mexican boarders comes the trickle of terrorists.  One by one.  And if you let the trickle go, you will have more than a serious problem on your hands, Ted.

Can anyone be this naive to think that terrorists are not using the open boarders as a means to enter the country?

Ted, once upon a time, we had legal immigration.  Immigration is what built this country.  BUT IT WAS DONE SYSTEMATICALLY AND LEGALLY!  We checked EVERYONE into the country.  We knew who they were, where they were from.  We knew who their relatives were, and we knew how much damn money they had in their pockets!  Check the damn records, TED, from Ellis Island!

I just want to puke. 

And of course, Hillary is getting her 4 cents in.  Time to step up to the soap box and bash what we all know is right.

And then we have George Bush.  George, you are not in Texas anymore buddy!  What is your obsession with Mexicans?  Have you been to Walmart lately?  How much money do our Fortune 1000 companies have to spend to print Spanish on all of their products for 11% of the population to read?  My god, I speak English.  My family speaks English.  And my great grandfather who came over from Italy in 1909 HAD TO LEARN ENGLISH!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

How can anyone, in their clear minds, deal with what politicians are doing to this country?  Democrats and Republicans alike.

This blog is not about that.  Its not about Democrats or Republicans.  Its about what's wrong in this country.  Our government is what's wrong.  The politicians are what's wrong.  The lobbying is what's wrong.  The scandals, lies, taxes, expenditures are all wrong.  And we continue down this road of doom.

Is anyone naive enough to think that American can't fall?  We are like a diseased oak.
