The head of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries warned Thursday that oil prices would see an "unlimited" increase in the case of a military conflict involving Iran, because the group's members would be unable to make up the lost production. "We really cannot replace Iran's production - it's not feasible to replace it," Abdalla Salem El-Badri, the OPEC secretary general, said in an interview. Iran, the second-largest producing country in OPEC, after Saudi Arabia, produces about four million barrels of oil a day out of the daily worldwide production of close to 87 million barrels. The country has been locked in a lengthy dispute with Western nations over its nuclear ambitions. In recent weeks, the price of oil has risen higher on speculation that Israel could be preparing to mount an attack on the country's nuclear facilities. The saber-rattling intensified this week with missile tests by Iran. | Ok, here it is, the moment of truth. For all of you liberal environmentalists out there, who have frozen our ability to drill and refine our own oil, the truth finally comes out: THE PRICE OF OIL FROM OPEC IS DIRECTLY RELATED TO HOSTILITIES IN REGION WITH ARAB BROTHERS So keep doing what you are doing and bury America even further and use OIIL as a SHIELD for your friend, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. What a coward lunatic! And shame on you traitor Americans who give this guy his power. OIL has nothing to do with supply and demand. The price we pay is based on OPEC's "feeling" about us at any given time. Its based on our "Good behavior" in the region. Think about it. Iraq was exporting VERY LITTLE OIL when we invaded. Why would it matter what happened to their oil fields if their oil fields were a very small part of the overall global production? But instead, OPEC seized the moment to make money -- NOT GEORGE BUSH. I challenge any one reading this to tell me how George Bush profited from Iraq. I DARE YOU TO GIVE ME PROOF! |
This blog site to be used to discuss everything that is wrong in America, and what we can do to help save our country. Patriots Unite! What is important is that this country is falling apart right before our eyes and nobody seems to care enough to do something about it. America is rotting. Period. And it is beginning to smell like it... For more of my rant, visit http://www.xavierholden.com
